”Shall We Dance?”

Beginners: 4 Weeks starting on Wed. October 28th from 7-8p.m. (Cost $50 per person for entire session, payable at first class)
Beginner’s class will be an introduction to Social/Ballroom Dancing. Students will learn the basics in 6-8 dances, and practice them to music with a partner. Emphasis is placed on the fundamentals, getting students accustomed to matching the dance to the music, and floor etiquette. Students are encouraged to sign-up with a partner, but partners are not required. Wear/bring comfortable, smooth soled (dress) shoes, and bring a notebook.

Intermediate/Advanced: 4 Weeks starting on Wed. October 28th from 8-9p.m. (Cost $60 per person for entire session, payable at first class.)
This class is designed for the student who has already had some formal instruction…A variety of smooth and rhythm dances will be covered; outline provided at 1st class. Focus will be on more advanced movement, developing solid partnership skills, and floor craft. Students are encouraged to sign-up with a partner, but partners are not required. Wear/bring smooth soled shoes or dance shoes, and bring a notebook.

Every 4th Sunday, 2:15-4:15pm
Experience the powerful, yet profoundly peaceful ancient meditative music of Harmonic Overtone Chanting and Tibetan Singing Bowls.

Wear comfortable clothes. Blankets are available. Bring your own cushions, blankets or mats if you choose. You will experience a Tibetan style of chanting. In this style voice is used to induce relaxation, to balance chakras and to deepen meditative and peaceful states of mind. The opportunity to enjoy the ancient sounds of Tibetan and other Himalayan singing bowls will also be available.
